Virginia trained in stage management at Rose Bruford College of Speech & Drama. She worked as a stage manager in London, throughout the UK and in Europe (companies included Almeida Theatre, Leicester Haymarket, Liverpool Playhouse). She then became a Company Manager, working on large scale UK tours, in the West End and on Broadway (companies included Shared Experience, Ambassador Theatre Group and Bill Kenwright Prodcutions).
After 6 years in stage management, Virginia moved into administration, working for the Ambassador Theatre Group. During the following 4 years she was production administrator on numerous shows in the West End, UK and international tours. Virginia then chose to pursue a freelance career (companies included Shape and Sonia Friedman Productions) as well as television stage management. She joined Company of Angels in March 2008.
