Vanessa Fagan
General Manager

Born in Germany, Vanessa worked as a freelance journalist while studying English, Theatre and Journalism at Leipzig University. Having moved to London to complete her degree, she started her career in the arts working as Development Assistant at the Unicorn Theatre.

While at Unicorn, Vanessa gathered experience in fundraising for a capital project and was part of the team that worked towards the opening of the new purpose-built theatre for children in central London.

After finishing her MA in Arts Management and Policy at Birkbeck College, Vanessa joined Company of Angels on a part-time basis, while continuing to work at the Unicorn Theatre until the new building was opened. Since April 2006, she has been working full-time at Company of Angels. In 2008, she started working on a job-share basis with Virginia Leaver in order to pursue a part-time MSc at London School of Economics.
