Company of Angels is looking for up to 10 directors with an interest in site-specific, devised theatre and working with young people (18+ and primary school pupils) for our Gap Theatre Training Programme 2008.
The project is a week of in-depth training led by Gap Theatre Project creators Renata Allen & Leisa Rea. Directors and teachers will learn more about the model and the different ways it can be applied. The aim of the course is to equip participants with the skills needed to carry out their own Gap Theatre Projects. The directors chosen will then become part of the pool of artists Company of Angels use to deliver this project in Cambridgeshire, and other regions. The project will run for one week from 20 to 25 October in Cambridgeshire. Interviews will take place in September 2008 on London. Bursaries are available for successful applicants.
