Katalijne and her mother run a roadside cafe where young truckdriver Remco drops in for his coffee. When 18-year-old Katalijne falls in love with Remco, all three lives are changed forever by a fight for the girl's future. Truckstop is a beautifully constructed play about love, independence and growing up.

Janet Bamford and Eugenia Caruso won a joint Stage Award for best actress at the Edinburgh Festival 2007 and author Lot Vekemans received the prestigious Van der Vries prize in 2005 (best new play) for Truckstop.
