Imploding Fictions

Imploding Fictions is an international theatre company based partly in the UK, partly in Norwayand ever so slightly in Germany. In the past three years we have created three productions as well as a busyside-programme of readings, workshops, and scratch projects. Imploding Fictions kicked off in 2007 with aproduction of Hamletmachine at London’s BAC, ashow that won international acclaimand toured to Egypt, Italy, Franceand the Netherlands. Our second production, the English premiere of the Swiss cult play Norway.Todaywas created during a residency period at the Junction in Cambridge. A year later Norway.Today wasrevived at Southwark Playhouse in London. In 2010 we wereinvited to make a production for Theater Drachengasse in Vienna. The resulting show Flap and Fear wona Newcomer Award in Austriaand subsequently transferred to Osloin an expanded version.

Imploding Fictions is run by Company of Angels Associates Philip Thorne and Øystein Ulsberg Brager.
